As white as the snow, Gaurang Shah's muslin collection for spring summer has broken the traditional norms associated with cotton.
Truly 'muslin can be couture'
The collection incorporated an array of weaves from across the country. Ranging from intricate parsi work to classic lucknawi chikankari, jamdani weaves to kota, there was something for every palette.
Inspired from mughal motifs and organza, incorporating every day fabrics like cotton, muslin and khadi, this collection was a work of art.
Showcasing ghararas, anarkalis with lehengas, floor-length kurtas, saris, the collection aimed at every aspect of true Indian fashion.
Anita Dongre
Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017, finally came to an end on February 5, with Anita Dongre's finale collection.
The collection beautifully showcased the grandeur of sheer. Sheer silk organza mixed with delicate gotta patti work, true to Anita Dongre's signature style, the collection lived up to every expectation promised by the designer. Bias skirts, sheer kurtas and dresses with tulle and sequins and resham and what not... it was a fashion heaven.
